Our team benefited so much from yesterday and I received many messages afterwards that it was the best training that anyone had ever received.
Thank you both again so much for yesterday and for giving so much of yourselves to us. Our team benefited so much from yesterday and I received many messages afterwards that it was the best training that anyone had ever received. I feel the same way and I know that we all left with many new learnings, takeaways, reflections and actions to carry us forward. You are both extraordinary facilitators and bring your whole heart to this work.

This workshop is required learning for folks working with the public!
Thank you for the opportunity to attend your Anti-Indigenous Racism training. This workshop helped me to connect the dots and deepen my learning in anti-indigenous racism. The facilitators' skill in teaching with wisdom, compassion and heart created an excellent container for learning. This workshop is required learning for folks working with the public!

I am recommending this workshop already.
It is essential knowledge and experience for every one of us non-Indigenous Canadians. I/we need to wake up and live with awareness of our impact and learn more of how to make it good. I like the content of the facts being made “thick”/real – not just theoretical and distanced. Your personal stories did this very well. I liked the slow pacing accompanied by regular invitations to notice our somatic experience; this was really important and helpful - it helped the stories land in me.

Both of you are brilliant facilitators.
Both of you (Jennifer-Lee & Tanu) are brilliant facilitators, setting a very “safe” container for participants, a wealth of knowledge and incorporated the material in such a way that was not just intellectual but actually gave us all an “embodied” experience of the history and culture of Indigenous People

Every non-Indigenous person should take this workshop.
It is extremely moving, and important, and gives folks a starting point with how to advocate for Indigenous sovereignty. If you consider yourself an Indigenous Ally, Accomplice or Co-conspirator, take this program. The instructors are incredibly knowledgeable and generous with their time and energy.

I came away from the training feeling both unsettled and energized, and with a deeper knowledge and understanding.
The training provided a safe and non-judgmental space in which to explore Canada's troubled history and openly discuss issues of racism, colonialism, "settler guilt" and other difficult topics. I appreciated the straightforward explanation of certain indigenous cultural norms, why land acknowledgements are important, and why language and up-to-date terminology matters. I came away from the training feeling both unsettled and energized, and with a deeper knowledge and understanding.

The AIR Training is a powerful and embodied course.
The AIR Training is a powerful and embodied course that is not only richly informative but is also impactful at the heart level - so necessary to move us all into effective action to end anti-Indigenous racism. Tanu and Jennifer-Lee are powerful, wise and courageous leaders and teachers.

It was such a non-judgemental unfolding of the information.
I didn’t feel like you were hitting us over the head, but nudging us toward the truth. In that way, we could judge for ourselves the wrongs that have been done. Way more effective than anger and finger-pointing.

One of the most important things about resisting with oppressed communities is not just to do so intellectually, but to FEEL it in your heart. This workshop really makes you feel it in your heart.

I have attended multiple anti-racism trainings, and this is the best one I have ever experienced.
Your skill of holding the space, teaching from the heart and therapeutic skills were very present.

Very powerful.
This workshop left me with a deep, compassionate and actionable understanding of how I, as an uninvited settler can continue decolonizing my mind, heart and community. Working with sitting in discomfort; connecting this information from an intellectual perspective to our hearts. Very powerful.

Thank you for creating the beautiful circle for our teams yesterday.
It was an impactful few hour of learning, unlearning and deep discovery into the past. Not only was the material incredibly useful, but your family stories supported a deeper understanding of a painful history that touched all of us personally. We are hopeful the container you shared will be carried forward for our team to continue their learning and take meaningful next steps.
